I am pleased to announce my candidacy for the 127th District Court.  Many of you know me because I have practiced law in our community for over 35 years since my graduation from the University of Texas School of Law.  It has been an honor to spend much of my life in service to our nation, state and community.  I have served our country in the military as an Airborne Ranger and Reserve JAG Officer.  I served our state as an Assistant District Attorney and for 10 years as Judge of the 334th District Court.  I served my clients in state and federal courts, at all levels, on both the defendant's and plaintiff's side in courts across the country. 

There is very little that happens in state district court that I have not handled, either as a litigator or as a judge.

An important guiding principle of my service on the bench is a commitment to carefully follow and strictly interpret the laws and constitutions of our great nation and state.  My reputation for fair and even-handed application of the law is well known and I will continue to uphold this trust upon returning to the bench.  I appreciate your commitment to electing judges who firmly believe in a fair and impartial judicial system.
